Roy is a recognized thought leader in digital transformation, IT/OT convergence, and cybersecurity for the energy sector. With deep background in managed services, cyber governance-risk-compliance (GRC), and AI-era quality assurance and testing, Roy founded Caliche to bridge the gap between legacy energy operations and modern data-driven decision-making. His expertise in cybersecurity and operational technology makes Caliche uniquely equipped to handle the security-critical nature of energy data environments.

With 15+ years in the Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) space, Jose has built a career at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic leadership — architecting complex integrations, leading enterprise-scale projects, and delivering creative solutions to some of the industry's hardest problems.
Throughout his career he has served as Technical Architect and Tech Lead across trading, risk, and commodities platforms, specializing in system integrations and building solutions that are both technically sound and business-driven. He doesn't just design systems — he builds them, and he understands what it takes to make them work in production.
Today, Jose is focused on applying that experience to building modern, scalable solutions for an industry that's overdue for innovation — combining deep domain expertise with a drive to create tools that actually move the needle for trading and operations teams.
